Greek Mythology is not just a myth it's a story. I fell in love with the story of what my ancestor's believed in. Allot of people think of Zues when the hear about Greek mythology but, their wrong. Zues is the head king of the Gods and Goddess. He big, daring,and bold. All Gods and Goddesses have a bird to turn into or carriage. The three big top gods are three brother's. Zues,Poseidon,and Hades. Zues as you well know is the king,but his bird is a hawk and is married to Hera. Poseidon can speak to water horses and the king of the sea. Hades is known of being a bad guy,but since everyone is changing it up we don't know if he is bad or good. Athena is my favorite goddess! Her bird is an owl and she is weaving,smart,and war goddess. Artemis is a hunting goddess her bird is basically her bow and arrows. Apollo her twin brother who is also good hunting and instruments. And last but not least Aphrodite. She's the most beautiful goddess of them all she is the love and beauty goddess. Her bird a dove. but that's just a few gods and goddess that I'm going to put on this website.If you really wanted to know allot about Greek mythology I suggest you read the Percy Jackson series and it's second series.

Saints

Saints really is a Greek Orthodox Christan religion. My Saint is the person we are going to be talking about. Her name is St Kathrine which is her name in English. If your name is Caitlin, Kate,or Kathrine Your name day is celebrated on September 25. Her story starts off when she turns sixteen. She's beautiful smart and a princess of Alexandria,Egypt. Since she was a kid she wanted to marry someone who surpassed her. When first discovering Christ. He was handsome wealthy etc. She became a Christ when she was seventeen. She had an amazing marriage with a blessing. When still young she visited Rome to where Roman Emperor Maxentius was. As Emperor he was killing all Christan's for not believing in Roman Gods. Kathrine was put in jail and allot of people were coming to see her. He kept torturing her but everyday she was healed.To put a stop to this Maxentius put her under a spiked wheel but, Kathrine was prayer when she came close to her finish the wheel broke. Maxentius was furious. He asked for her hand in marriage but, Kathrine refused so he came to her cell and beheaded her.
